So, it's been two years or so since I've truly been on Deviantart.  A lot happened in that space of time.  I moved twice (or is it thrice?).  I lost track of too much art.  I got divorced. In a nutshell, it's been a strange, odd, wonderful, quiet time.  Sometimes heartwrenching.  Mostly exhilarating, since most of my adult life I have spent trying to define myself through visual storytelling and being a supportive wife.  I've been doing a lot of healing and self-maintenance as of late. So, something amazing happened while Hubby and Me were traveling to Virginia to teach a workshop.  Even more amazing than teaching a great workshop to a bunch of kids who were excited about art!  I know, I know.  It's been an awesome week already, but humor me just a little while longer... So, I've been having an art show at a fancy local restaurant, which in most cases, isn't that much to brag about.  I'd sold enough to cover my costs and a little more, but while we were gone, I sold a piece of art to Senator John Freakin' Edwards.  He's kinda a big deal in this state.  He's like, the senator and stuff.  He was a nomination for the democrat
